Assumptions

Embarrassingly stupid assumptions are stuck in your head.

A shame they lull you to sleep when you go to bed:

“I know the secrets of life and the whole universe,

I can right all the wrongs done by my ancestors to this Earth.

I’m invincible—” Ha! Tell that to your future friend Death,

Who will smirk at your arrogance as you marvel at his stealth.
